![]() I really put my butt out on a limb to add two seats and get us back on maintenance here, just hope I don't end up with egg on my face.īTW: who pays $40 for pirated software? Looks like someone made you their fool.Yes there has been updates and good ones to transform. In X5 X2 MU2 worked perfectly, please get back to that! We have scrapped parts because of the bugs in that operation. Supposedly they redid the transform operations, which have been a nightmare in X3 and X4. So, back to the original question, is anyone on here beta testing X5? They did roll out a Solidworks plug in but they are not certified by Solidworks and the price is almost twice that of competitors. Mcam does have alot of very strong competition price point and functionality wise so its just a matter of time. Some of the questions posted on here are issues that are resolved by the reseller when you purchase the software and as far as I know they VAR's bundle the 1 year of maint. Guys like CadCam are extremely well versed in Mcam and out of their generosity and an assumption every one is legal help the pirates use stolen software. A couple of posts back I brought up the point about the members on here facilitating piracy because they are UNKNOWINGLY helping pirates. JohnI agree with you, this is none sense. Maybe the people who pay should get a rebate as the software becomes public. ![]() Or make the product so inexpensive there isn’t such a huge piracy problem. ![]() How are the people who pay any more competitive as a shop if any one can just download the full version at any time?Īs paying customers we should be expecting more security from the software company. The people who buy software are going to buy it even if it is cracked. Hence more market share and free advertising. I the software is easy to crack then more people are aware of it. I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory but the way CNC has acted in the past always surprises me and makes me wonder.
